it's about time i stopped procrastinating and actually start working on my projects instead of sitting around doing nothing but sipping coffee off an overpriced mug and twiddling my thumbs admiring the fatness of the crows outside my window.
lets talk about my mug. when i first arrived in canberra, i went shopping for things i would need to survive. being new to this place, i had no idea where to go so i went straight to the nearest 'supermarket' i saw at the mall nearest to my place.
it was there where i spent 149 dollars on various things, 5 dollars out of it spent on the cheapest mug i could find. I walked out of that store thinking about what i could buy with that money in ringgit and how expensive life in australia is gonna be. until i walked a little more and found out that i could have bought the exact same things at a different store for just 50 dollars and only 80 cents out of that 50 would go to a mug which looked almost alike the one i spent 5 dollars on. i walked out of that mall that day grumbling like my uncle's 10 year old car in the mornings and looking like i've got someone's thumb stuck up my arse.
ever since then, i've been buying milk and juices just so i could have something to drink off my very expensive mug.
